Hola! Como estas?
Thank you for visiting my page.
I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Had a great childhood with a loving family. At the age of 6, I knew that I wanted to be an actress. I think of it as my vocation. I started participating in TV commercials early on and taking diverse artistically inclined classes, such as ballet, painting, acting and modeling. Upon my high school graduation, my parents wouldn’t support my career choice of acting, so I ended up going to Law school and becoming a lawyer. I practiced for about 8 months.
On April 1st of 2008, I made the best decision of my life: To move to the US to pursue acting professionally. I landed in the New York and immediately enrolled in an Acting conservatory program for approximately 3 years at HB Studio. Moved to Los Angeles for a few good years and then came back to NY, where I now reside. It has been a wonderful journey, nevertheless a challenging one. I’ve grown as a person and as an artist. I’ve laughed and I’ve cried. Above all, I am very grateful for all the great opportunities I have had to work in diverse Film, TV, New Media, Commercial and Theatre projects doing what I love. And I am open and ready to embrace new and greater ones!
I would describe myself as loving, warm, spiritual, empathetic and confident. Do you have any faults, Alexandra? You might ask. Sure! I don’t eat vegetables. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering for good causes, reading motivational books, spending quality time with my loved ones, laughing (really good for the soul) and eating chocolate chip cookies.
And that’s a wrap!
